27/01/2013 - Arrived and Unpacked

Due to access at the new house it was decided that delivery was best made at Bob's factory.  It also meant having the use of a fork lift truck :-)  Its a fair size box....

Unpacking and getting to grips with the immaculate cowlings

The canopy and canopy struts

Brake callipers, wheel hubs and gear legs....lovely.

Underneath the canopy was the engine mount, spinner and a few other things!

I bought a few extras, so standby UMA speedo in Knots, and Cormant antennas for radio and transponder. I chose the underbelly bent whip variety.

Engine bolts, audio mixer, light dimmer and two red led interior lights.

Also arriving in the post was some parts from Jade Air.  A new upgraded canopy latch and some fuel drain fairings to go with the fuel vents I already had.  http://www.jdair.com/

And from Bonaco, the RV7DBL brake line kit.  These are really lovely, teflon pipe, SS braided and clear pvc over the top to prevent chafing.  http://www.bonacoinc.com/

The kit is made up of:-

2pcs -3 St to St w/clear @ 36" (from Lft to Rht)
1pcs -3 St to St w/clear @ 18" (Rht side up to Tee)
1pcs -3 St to90 w/clear @ 18" (Rht side up to Tee).
8pcs 822-3D (master cyld to -3 nut adaptors 90).
1pcs 826-3D (This replaces the plastic Tee).
2pcs -3 St to -4 St w/clear @ 24" (from Lft master to #4 firewall bulkhead fittings) (special -3 st nut on one end -3 hose w/clear -4 st nut on the other end)
